Cheese Knives- Know Uses and Types of Cheese Knives

There are different types of cheese knives available,  that are used accordingly. The usage of these knives depends upon the texture of cheese for example -

  • To cut soft cheese, you can use soft cheese knives.
  • To cut hard cheese, you can use hard cheese knives.
  • To cut very hard cheese, you can use parmesan cheese knives.

These knives are made of different materials and in different ways, shapes and size as per the requirement like-  Soft cheese knives have holes in the blade so that the cheese do not stick.
Parmesan cheese knives  have very short, thick blades to put pressure into the cut. And hard cheese knives are generally very sharp and can cut perfect and neat slices. These also have forked tip so these can be used as a serving utensil as well.
