Best Of Rada Cutlery Sets
Originally manufactured in Waterloo, Iowa, in 1974, Rada Mfg. Co. shifted their operations 20 miles to Waverly, Iowa. Since that time, they have been expanding to keep up with the demand of their loyal customers, and transformed to Rada Cutlery.
Their traditional market has been community fundraisers and flea markets, though their products are also available online. The bulk of their product line is inexpensive stamped-blade knives, generally under US$15 per knife, though they also manufacture other kitchen-related materials such as stoneware and cookbooks. Their better-known products tend to have a signature style featuring highly polished, thin blades and brushed-aluminum handles.
Rada knives are super sharp, handcrafted in the USA, and carry a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer against defects in materials or workmanship. Rada cutlery is made of surgical quality, high carbon stainless steel. The aluminum handles create a "feel good in your hand" balance for superior comfort. Hollow-ground blades ensure a precision concave surface for maximum edge retention and sharpness. Hand wash and dry immediately after use to prevent discoloration of the aluminum handle.
