Serrated knives are very useful and important kitchen appliances.  Serrated  knives are used to cut
fruits, vegetables and bread etc. It is also used to cut hard things like nylon. These knives have teeth with edge that cut the food in a very proper way and also protect the recessed cutting edge from getting dull. There are some different types of serrated knives, one of them is bread knife.  Bread knife is the most common type of serrated knife.

Serrated Knives should be sharpened from time to time. These knives are not sharpened with any knife sharper available in the market. These must be sharpened using a serrated knife sharpener to keep it long lasting.
