Manufactured in the Pacific Northwest, Silver Stag features a rich collection of meticulously handcrafted hunting knives and swords, capturing the essence of a bygone era by combining functionality, durability and rich aesthetic character into a series of functional field tools. Most of the products make use of shed elk, deer or moose antler handles in combination with JT 420 stain resistant steel or 1084 high carbon tool steel blades.
The shed antler handle material is mainly harvested from the Pacific Northwest, with some Alaskan Moose, Canadian Deer and Elk, and Midwestern Whitetail when available. The raw shed antler is trimmed, cut and sorted; taking into account the diameter, the curvature and the natural characteristics of the horn; the antler is then assigned to a specific blade style. Silver Stag products are manufactured with stain resistant, Damascus or High Carbon tool steel. The Silver Stag product line includes 30 different designs.
